At Radiance we pride ourselves on making sure our clients are tanning safely! We have 1x Luxura V6 stand up and 2x Luxura X5 lay-down sunbeds in the salon.
We replace our bulbs on an annual basis to ensure our clients get the best results. We use the 0.3 bulbs on our beds which are the safest bulbs to tan on with a much lower risk of burning. We combine these lamps with the red light therapy bulbs, these have many benefits including increasing the production of collagen and elastin, improves skin moisture and leaves your skin feeling smoother, plumper and more youthful.
The combination of these processes mean great results for all clients wanting to improve their natural skin colour and keep their skin feeling great!
Spray Tans
Sunescape is an Australian brand which delivers a natural looking tan with its signature tropical scent. Due to its natural and harmless ingredients it doesn't cause dryness, streaking, patchiness or any orange undertones. When having a Sunescape spray tan it must done at least 24hrs after any hair removal and it's important to make sure you have exfoliated thoroughly before your appointment. The results should last 7-10 days with good aftercare. Before arriving for your appointment, please remove all moisturiser, makeup, perfume and deodorant. We advise you to wear baggy clothes and flip-flops. If your spray tan is for a special event we recommend that you have it done 2 days beforehand and leave it on for a minimum of 8 hours to allow it to develop properly.

By building on the foundation of the skin, the results are driven by treatments to become a reality for every skin type; regardless of age, gender or Fitzpatrick skin. DermaQuest is a brand for everyone. The formulations are among the first to put the most powerful properties of peptides, lactic acid, salicylic acid and glycolic acid. Carbon Laser
A thin layer of medical-grade carbon lotion is applied to the skin. The carbon penetrates the pores and binds to oil, dead cells, and impurities. The YAG laser is then passed over the skin. The heat vaporises the carbon, taking debris and dead skin with it. This also stimulates collagen, shrinks pores, and controls sebum levels in the skin.

Skin Rejuvenation
There are several laser types used for rejuvenation, depending on your skins goals. Such as treating fine line or wrinkles, pigmentation, improving skin texture and tone, and scarring. The YAG laser heats skin tissue without damaging the surface.

Thermotherapy Facial
Our thermotherapy facial is a relaxation facial treat, also included is the application of Lava shells. The facial Includes deep cleaning, exfoliation, face mask and a massage of your dreams!
Lava shells are used within the massage to encourage relaxation, blood flow, lymphatic drainage and aid of the muscle relaxation. This honestly is a facial of dreams!
Lactic Acid
Our DermaQuest lactic acid resurfacers are our most gentle form of acid to the skin. They are hydrating the skin by up to 90% by increasing the hydraulic acid that is naturally in our skin. The lactic acid lightly exfoliates the skin helping to brighten your complexion and also stimulate the collagen to help with signs of ageing.
Salicylic Acid
DermaQuest salicylic acid is great for acne prone skin, by helping exfoliate dead skin cells, reducing the sebum (oil) production, works as an anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial to calm irritated areas of skin. It achieves all of this by opening the pathways to lower levels of the skin so the ingredients can penetrate deeper.
Glycolic Acid
Our glycolic acid resurfacer is great for clients who need help with pigmentation and ageing concerns. This resurfacer has a higher exfoliation level than lactic acid, meaning the skin cell turnover is much greater which helps reduce hyperpigmentation. It will reduce the signs of fine lines and wrinkles by increasing the collagen and elastin in the skin. The resurfacer will be doing all of this whilst also hydrating and targeting underlying congestion.
Advanced Facials
The DermaQuest resurfacer is perfect for clients wanting to improve their skin texture, pigmentation, acne, ageing or just an overall glow. The treatment is a natural way to exfoliate. Treatments take 30 - 60 minutes depending on the clients needs. In combination with our 1 hour facial you will receive a neck and shoulder massage with a facial mask. The resurfacers are suitable for everyone, the resurfacer is picked depending on client skin concerns. There is no downtime after treatment. Aftercare and follow up appointments will be recommended after treatment to suite your needs.
Ultimate Facial
Our ultimate facial is a combination of DermaQuest resurfacers with our Pure roller Micro-needling system, followed by LED light treatment. A bespoke resurfacer is chosen to suit your desired skin concerns and then combined with the micro-needling treatment helping the product to penetrate deeper into the skin. This will give a superficial exfoliation for an even skin tone, improved appearance to fine lines, wrinkles, open pores and hyperpigmentation. The LED light is then followed by the Pure roller to help maximise collagen and elastin to the skin. Following the treatment, your skin will feel firmer, plumper, skin tone will appear more even and the skin will be left with an overall glow. Possible downtime for 2 - 3 days. Aftercare will be provided.
Chemical Peel
The DermaQuest chemical peels are for clients that are currently on the products or have had several resurfacers before. Our chemical peels involve an even application of the chemical solutions causing controlled skin damage which will kick-start the natural skin healing process. This will help to stimulate cell renewal, more collagen and elastin. Will also assist with plumping, scaring from acne, fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation. There is a 10 day downtime to this treatment and strict aftercare to follow, this will be presented to you at the end of the treatment catered to your needs.
Tattoo / sPMU Removal
Tattoo / Semi-Permanent Makeup Removal
We use YAG laser technology. The light emits high-intensity pulses of light that breaks up the ink particles in the skin. The body’s immune system then gradually clears away those fragmented ink particles over several weeks. Different wavelengths are used for different ink colours, since pigments absorb light differently.Treatment Process- Sessions Recommended: Typically 6 - 12 spaced 6 - 8 weeks apart.
- Session Duration: 10 - 30 minutes (depending on tattoo size).
- Complete Removal: May take 6 - 18 months.
Factors affecting how it fades:- Ink colour and depth.
- Age of the tattoo (older = easier).
- Skin tone.
- Location (areas with good circulation, like arms, heal faster).
Possible Side Effects
- The possible risks of the procedure include but are not limited to: pain, purpura, swelling, redness, bruising, blistering, crusting/scab formation, ingrown hairs, infection, and unforeseen complications which can last up to many months, years or permanently.
- There is a risk of scarring.
- Short term effects may include reddening, mild burning, temporary bruising or blistering. A brownish/red darkening of the skin (known as hyperpigmentation) or lightening of the skin (known as hypopigmentation) may occur. This usually resolves in weeks, but it can take up to 3-6 months to heal. Permanent colour change is a rare risk. Loss of freckles or pigmented lesions can occur.
- Textual and/or colour changes in the skin can occur and can be permanent. Many of the cosmetic tattoos and body tattoos are made with iron oxide pigments. Iron oxide can turn red-brown or black. Titanium oxide and other pigments may also turn black. This black or dark colour may be un-removable. Because of the immediate whitening of the exposed treatedarea by the laser, there can be a temporary obscuring of ink, which can make it difficult or impossible to notice a specific colour change from the tattoo removal process.
- Infection: Although infection following treatment is unusual, bacterial, fungal and viral infections can occur. Herpes simplex virus infections around the mouth can occur following a treatment. This applies to both individuals with a history of herpes simplex virus infections and individuals with no known history of herpes simplex virus infections in the mouth area. Should any type of skin infection occur, additional treatments or medical antibiotics may be necessary.
- Bleeding: Pinpoint bleeding is rare but can occur following treatment procedures. Should bleeding occur, additional treatment may be necessary.
- Allergic Reactions: There have been reports of hypersensitivity to the various tattoo pigments during the tattoo removal process especially if the tattoo pigment contained Mercury, cobalt or chromium. Upon dissemination, the pigments can induce a severe allergic reaction that can occur with each successive treatment. Noted in some patients are superficial erosions, bruising, blistering, milia, redness and swelling which can last up to many months, years or permanently.
- Compliance with the aftercare guidelines is crucial for healing, prevention of scarring, and hyper-pigmentation. Aftercare guidelines include avoiding the sun for 2 months after the procedure. If it is necessary to be in the sun, a sunscreen with SPF 30 or greater must be used.

A CryoPen is used for a precise, non-invasive removal of benign skin lesions through cryotherapy.
It utilizes pressurized nitrous oxide to rapidly freeze and destroy unwanted skin tissue.
It also helps with the removal and treat of conditions such as skin tags, warts, verrucas, sunspots, age spots, moles and other pigmentations.

Thread Vein Removal
Thread vein removal (also called spider vein removal or telangiectasia treatment) refers to several medical and cosmetic procedures designed to eliminate or reduce visible small veins — usually red, blue, or purple — that appear on the face, legs, or other parts of the body.
Thread veins are small, dilated blood vessels near the surface of the skin. They’re harmless but can be cosmetically distressing.

Traditional Massage
We provide a 30min, 45min or 1hr massage, created and designed to suit all clients aches and pains. We use a range of different techniques such as Swedish, aromatherapy, sports and pressure points.
Lava Shell Massage
Lava shell massage is a heat based massage using tiger clam shells as the massage tool. This tranquil massage helps supply the muscles directly with heat, offering relaxation, improving circulation, reducing swelling and helping to release those hard to get aches and pains. We provide 30 minute or 1 hour treatments.
Semi-Permanent Makeup
This treatment is quickly becoming very popular with our clients. Semi-permanent makeup is a procedure whereby a fine blade is used to deposit pigments into the skin. The pigment will appear crisp and very fine to the eye, achieving a natural look. Ideal for anyone who wants to enhance or define their brows, eyes or lips. It's fantastic for over-plucked and sparse eyebrows. It's an ideal treatment to really make your eyes pop! On your lips it can help hide pigment loss and give a more pronounced colour. For all areas the treatment is a two part process. The first session is the main treatment followed by a 6 week top up to replace any pigment loss. The 6 week top up is included in the price. Lash extensions are designed to suite your eye shape and achieve your desired look. We can do this by changing the length and thickness of your extensions. Classic lashes are individual lashed applied to each of your own lash, great for a natural and longer look. Hybrid lashes are a mixture of fans and individual lashes giving you a natural, but thicker look. Russian lashes are a more dramatic and thicker lash, ideal for parties and events. Top ups on lashes are recommended every 3 weeks.
LVL Lash Lift
Lift Volume Lengthen (LVL). This lash treatment is designed to enhance your own natural lashes by lifting from the root. It will give you the illusion of a longer, thicker looking lash. It's an amazing treatment which allows you to make the most of your own lashes without the need for extensions. Lash tint is included. A patch test is required for newbies 48hrs prior to your appointment.

Henna
This treatment is a great alternative to semi-permanent makeup and tinting. The natural plant based dye gives you a dramatic and more defined natural brow. The dye contains Lawsone which bonds with keratin in the skin and safely stains it with results lasting up to 3 weeks on the skin and 6 weeks on the hair. Treatment includes brow mapping and shaping.

Waxing
We provide all waxing services including legs, arms, underarms, bikini area, back, chest, eyebrows, lip, chin and side of face. Our crème wax is honey based, therefore it's gentle on all skin types without causing any skin irritation. We use hot wax beads for sensitive areas such as bikini, underarms and facial areas. Waxing can be provided for anyone. Under 16's will need to be accompanied by an adult.
Threading
Threading is a type of hair removal which originated in India. It's done with anti-bacterial thread, which is twisted and rolled over unwanted hair. This tyre of hair removal is great as there is no strain on the skin so it's ideal for sensitive areas and oily skin. Ideal for extra definition to the brow area.
Laser
Laser hair removal is a cosmetic procedure that uses focused light energy to target and destroy hair follicles, reducing or permanently removing unwanted hair.
A laser emits a specific wavelength of light which is absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair. The absorbed light energy is converted to heat which damages the follicle inhibiting or delaying future hair growth.
Treatment Plan- Typically requires 6-8 sessions, spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
- Hair grows in cycles; lasers only affect active (anagen phase) follicles.
- Maintenance sessions may be required once or twice a year.
*Can work on all skin types
**Does NOT work on vellus (fluffy or light-coloured) hair.
Possible Side Effects- Post treatment discomfort such as swelling, redness and mild tenderness.
- Although uncommon, the treatment may cause blisters or light burns to the surface of the skin (laser / light treatments only).
- Transient hypo, or hyper pigmentation may occur and will normally fade in 3 to 6 months.
- Crust formation "dirty skin" look is commonly seen for up to 10 days after treatment (laser / light treatments only).
- Scabbing, swelling, and bleeding can occur, but these are temporary (laser / light treatment only)

We provide both shellac and 'normal' polish manicures and pedicures. We have a wide range of colours available for you to select. Indulge in a 30 minute file and polish or treat yourself to a full mani and/or pedi and receive a scrub, hard skin removal on feet, cuticles removed and a foot or hand massge.
Gel Builder
Sculpture gel is a nail enhancement that can be applied as an overlay or used to sculpt a nair or full set. It's considered a hard gel that must be sculpted or moulded with a brush and can be applied over your natural nail or over a nail form to create your desired look. Lasting 2-3 weeks. Gel builder is cured using LED lights, this creates results that are stronger than an average brush on type gel. A manicure created with gel builder can last up to 3 weeks.
